1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AppealRx ("the Service") at appealrx.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AppealRx is an AI-powered tool that generates insurance appeal letters based on information you provide. The Service is intended to assist individuals in drafting appeal letters and does not constitute legal, medical, or insurance advice.

3. Not Legal or Medical Advice

AppealRx generates informational content only. The letters produced by the Service are AI-generated drafts and are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or insurance counsel. AppealRx makes no guarantee that using a generated letter will result in a favorable outcome from your insurance company. For complex or high-stakes cases, consult a licensed healthcare advocate or attorney.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use AppealRx. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide to generate your letter.
• You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fabricated information to generate letters intended to deceive an insurance company.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing your generated letter before submitting it to your insurer.

6. Purchases and Credits

AppealRx offers one-time credit purchases processed by Lemon Squeezy. Credits are non-transferable and do not expire. By completing a purchase, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

Credits grant access to download and copy generated appeal letters. The first appeal letter preview is available free of charge; full access requires a credit.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a money-back guarantee under the following condition: if you submit your AppealRx-generated letter to your insurance company and your appeal is denied, you may request a full refund of your purchase within 30 days of the denial decision.

To request a refund, email support@appealrx.co with:

• Your purchase receipt or order number
• A copy or description of the denial decision you received

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent or do not meet the above criteria.

8. Intellectual Property

The AppealRx platform, design, and underlying technology are owned by AppealRx. The appeal letter generated for you is yours to use freely for your personal insurance appeal. You may not resell, distribute, or use generated letters as templates for commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppealRx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to a failed insurance appeal, loss of benefits, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated letters will achieve any particular outcome with your insurance company.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
